Nuclear Design Engineer

Tim Rogers is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he received his Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nuclear Engineering.
Tim is currently employed by Duke Energy at the corporate office in Charlotte North Carolina as a Nuclear Core Design Engineer. Tim develops configurations of nuclear fuel in the reactor to allow both safe and economical operation for Oconee Nuclear Station near Seneca, South Carolina.
Tim resides in Charlotte, NC but is originally from Amarillo Texas. His interests include volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, snowboarding, and intramural sports. He has served on councils for a student chapter of Habitat at Texas A&M and for a professional chapter of North American - Young Generation Nuclear (NA-YGN) at Duke Energy.
